ProgressSoft, the leading provider of real-time payment solutions, started its participation today for the 3rd year in a row; as the Platinum Sponsor of Mobile Money & Digital Payments Global Conference & Expo - formerly known as Mobile Money Global (MMG), that is taking place on November 6th and 7th at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Mobile Money & Digital Payments Global is a real who's who of the great and the good from the World of Mobile Money. It is designed specifically to facilitate networking opportunities between pioneering stakeholders from mobile operators, banks, microfinance institutions, money transfer networks, app developers, regulators and NGOs.

This year, the event took a new turn to cover a wider range of payment technologies by adding the brand new Digital Payments Summit, which will be occurring simultaneously with the already existing Mobile Money Conference. This way the attendees can focus on mobile money exclusively, or on multi-channel digital payments, contactless technology, digital currency, e-commerce, and social media payments.

Mr. Michael Wakileh, CEO ProgressSoft Corporation commented by saying "Mobile Payments cannot be monopolized by a Mobile Network Operator or a Financial Institution. It has to be society- or population-driven. It has to be country-wide, and with a window for International Remittances. It has to run from every person or business to any person or business regardless of the banker or mobile operator, for the service to prevail."

During the event's exhibition, ProgressSoft will be demonstrating its countrywide mobile payment offering, including the Mobile Payment Solution (PS-mPay) and Mobile Payment Switch (PS-mpClear). The solutions are designed to enable banked and unbanked customers to conduct various payment transactions, including Person2Person, Person2Business, Person2Government and Point-of-Sale (POS) Payments, as well as Bill Payments, Direct Credit and International Remittances.
