ProgressSoft Concludes the Third Edition of the Central Bank Payments Conference

A third successful year was concluded today for ProgressSoft at the Central Bank Payments Conference (CBPC) in Berlin, Germany. Bringing new payment technologies to central banks from around the world, ProgressSoft managed to shed light on significant topics for central banking bodies while uncovering futuristic insights for those institutions.

While maintaining a solid focus on the importance of financial inclusion, interoperability and a strong oversight of the payment channels on a national scale, ProgressSoft presented its take on mobile payments interoperability to more than 50 central banks and monetary authorities as world-first innovators of the Interoperable Mobile Payment Switch, a solution designed with a deep understanding of what central banks need offering unprecedented capabilities to provide more inclusive and attainable financial services to their citizens.

The Interoperable Mobile Payment Switch triggered the interest of more than 20 central banks from different countries including Colombia, Maldives, Austria, Netherlands, Canada, The UK, Singapore and Thailand.

In parallel, and keeping up with the latest trends in payments, ProgressSoft presented its secured, tailored and interoperable payment systems for central banks including its latest Blockchain-based Central Bank Digital Currency, Real-time Retail Payments (Instant Payments) and more.
