Jordan University (KASIT) Delegation Visits ProgressSoft Premises

ProgressSoft Corporation, in cooperation with the University of Jordan, arranged for a visit of professors and students from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology (KASIT) in Jordan to its headquarters in Amman, Jordan.

A group from KASIT which included 13 professors, 8 Master’s students and 5 undergraduate students visited ProgressSoft today, and enjoyed a full day agenda prepared by ProgressSoft, wherein the KASIT group were introduced to ProgressSoft's work ethic, methodologies, framework and tools used, as well as the software design and architecture principles adopted by the corporation.

The visit to ProgressSoft was for the purpose of highlighting important aspects that can be the basis of a new course added to the school's curriculum, and comes as a part of a larger scale collaboration between ProgressSoft and the University of Jordan, where ProgressSoft is committed to continuing its support of local talent, and contributing in the advancement of the IT curriculum through the introduction of innovative methodologies and principles.

KASIT was established in the year 2000, by the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in the development of Information Technology (IT) in Jordan. It provides the local and Arab market with programs and laboratories equipped to meet its aspirations in preparing scientific experts specialized in the field of IT.
