ProgressSoft Strengthens CEMAC Financial Industry Engagement

Bangui - October 4, 2026

ProgressSoft concluded its participation as Gold Partner at Bangui Financial Days 2026, held from 1 to 3 October in Bangui, Central African Republic, drawing strong interest from across the CEMAC financial industry in the infrastructure that now connects the region.

Over three days, the forum brought together leaders from across the financial industry of the six CEMAC member states, from central bank governors and regulators to senior executives and decision-makers of financial institutions, around a shared agenda of strengthening business financing and advancing the structural transformation of Central African economies.

Throughout the forum, delegates engaged directly with ProgressSoft’s experts to explore the capabilities shaping the next stage of modernization, from centralizing payment processing through the Payments Hub Platform to automating signature verification with Intelligent Signature Recognition and digitizing check deposit at the point of capture through Check Capture and Deposit. Each drew considerable interest from institutions now advancing their own modernization agendas.

Building on the experience of the successful launch of SYSTAC 2 with the Bank of Central African States (BEAC), the centralized electronic clearing house that brought 71 participants across the six CEMAC member states onto a unified regional infrastructure through a single region-wide cutover, ProgressSoft’s Daniel Ngoh took part in a panel discussion on financial inclusion, digital services and territorial proximity. The panel explored the key conditions for successful proximity-based financial inclusion, examining how interoperability, mobile money, agent networks and products tailored to local needs come together in practice, and why closer collaboration between banks, fintechs, microfinance institutions and telecommunications operators remains central to extending financial and payment services across the region.

ProgressSoft’s participation in the forum reflects its growing relationships with the financial industry in CEMAC and reaffirms its commitment to advancing financial and payment infrastructure across the region, where it continues to support financial institutions in building efficient, unified and future-ready financial ecosystems.
