ProgressSoft held a workshop in Abidjan in collaboration with the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d’Ivoire (APBEF-CI), bringing together representatives from 11 banks operating in the country. Hosted at the association’s premises, the workshop focused on technology solutions that can help banks modernize payment operations, improve efficiency and strengthen digital banking services.
As banks in Côte d’Ivoire and the wider region advance their digital transformation, the need for integrated, efficient payment infrastructure capable of supporting evolving banking services is becoming increasingly important. The workshop explored how the right technology foundations can help streamline operations, strengthen visibility and control over payment data and deliver better experiences for corporate and retail customers.
ProgressSoft presented five of its solutions: Payments Hub Platform for centralized routing and processing of multiple payment types across channels; Message Depot for secure central financial message storage and retrieval; Smart Payments Reconciliation for automated transaction matching and exception handling; Intelligent Signature Recognition for automated verification of handwritten signatures; and Corporate Banking Suite for digital corporate payment and cash management services.
Discussions with participating banks focused on their modernization priorities and how these capabilities could help address operational challenges, while integrating with existing banking infrastructure.
The workshop reflects ProgressSoft’s commitment to engaging directly with financial institutions, understanding their evolving priorities and sharing practical expertise in payments modernization. Through its collaboration with APBEF-CI, ProgressSoft continues to strengthen its relationships with Côte d’Ivoire’s banking community and contribute to discussions shaping the future of banking operations.
