ProgressSoft, the leading provider of real-time payment solutions, concluded its participation as the Diamond Sponsor of the 4th International e-Commerce Conference yesterday that took place in Salalah, Oman on the 26th & 27th of July 2016.
During the two-day conference, various topics were discussed that included information security and its impact on the financial system and global economy, the role of the Central Bank of Oman in developing the infrastructure for payment systems, in addition to the reality and challenges of electronic payments.
Moreover, as an internationally renowned provider of payment solutions, ProgressSoft shared its vision on the future of payments during the event, as well as its implemented electronic payment systems in the Sultanate, shedding the light on how businesses and individuals can take advantage of these systems.
ProgressSoft has been continuously active in the Sultanate of Oman since 2009, where it started with the implementation of its countrywide Electronic Check Clearing Solution (PS-ECC), and continuing to being awarded six payment projects by the Central Bank of Oman in 2015. Those projects included the implementation of the Automated Clearing House solution (PS-ACH), the Mandate Management System (PS-ACH/MMS), the Wages Protection System (PS-WPS), the Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (PS-EBPP), the Mobile Payment Switching & Clearing solution (PS-mpClear) and the Payments Dispute Management System (PS-DisputeManager).
