The first day of the MMT conference featured a presentation by ProgressSoft's CEO, Mr. Michael Wakileh, who conveyed the company's expertise through his discussion of a Country-wide Mobile Payment Service that includes collaboration of all stakeholders: MNOs, Banks, Retail Merchants and Government.
During MMT exhibition, ProgressSoft demonstrated its mobile payment solution (PS-mPay) and mobile payment switch (PS-mpClear) which are designed to enable banked and unbanked customers to conduct various payment transactions, including Person2Person, Person2Business and Person2Government Payments, as well as Bill Payments, Point-of-Sale Payments and International Remittances. ProgressSoft's latest solution also enables and addresses the importance of having the Central Bank/Clearing House acting as owner and operator of the Mobile Payment Switch, in order to build a successful mobile payment infrastructure.
On the second day of the event, ProgressSoft hosted an exclusive dinner cruise that included the prominent attendees of the event. The guests enjoyed Dubai's most renowned cruise experience on board Bateaux Dubai and celebrated the MMT Global event success, while enjoying panoramic views of the city.
