ProgressSoft Corporation is the official sponsor of the 16th annual Science Festival at the Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, which took place from March 25 to 29, 2018.
The Science Festival is an annual event held at the university where scientific innovation, projects and research conducted by Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) students as well as students from across the GCC are displayed, bringing innovative projects from across the GCC all together under one roof.
The 16th Science Festival was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Said bin Hamed Al Rubaii, the Secretary General of the Education Council, at the university’s main hall. The festival exhibited 36 innovative student projects in addition to 6 research studies from various scientific fields and is part of the university’s efforts to provide students with opportunities to enhance their creativity and inspire innovation.
The ProgressSoft team was delighted to be there to witness talented Omani students creating new innovations that support sustainability in the Sultanate of Oman. We are thrilled to take part in initiatives that fosters creativity in the younger generation, who will one day contribute to the success of the Sultanate.
