ProgressSoft To Launch Payments Hub in Numerous Banks in Oman

ProgressSoft is delighted to announce that it has been awarded by numerous banks in Oman to launch its Payments Hub Platform that is in full compliance with the Central Bank of Oman’s new regulations, requirements and vision.

In light of the Central Bank of Oman’s new regulatory project to replace the local Real-Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS) with a new GCC RTGS implementation, numerous banks in Oman including Bank Muscat, Meethaq Islamic Bank, Sohar International Bank and Sohar Islamic Bank chose ProgressSoft’s Payments Hub Platform as the preferred solution to comply with the RTGS and GCC RTGS requirements.

The advanced platform will act as a payments gateway between the banks’ omnichannels and central bank’s RTGS and GCC RTGS systems, as well as handle all payment types and consolidate payment modules to act as a single orchestrator for transaction management.
