ProgressSoft and JAWWAL PAY Launch Electronic Bill Payments
ProgressSoft and JAWWAL PAY are delighted to announce the successful go-live of ProgressSoft’s Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment solution (PS-EBPP) and a major upgrade of ProgressSoft’s Mobile Payments Platform (PS-mPay) in ongoing efforts to provide a cost-effective, secure replacement of cash in Palestine.
In a step forward towards enhancing the payments ecosystem in the country, JAWWAL PAY, a leading payment service provider under the umbrella of The National Electronic Payment Company (NCEP), implemented PS-EBPP to provide users with the ability to conduct bill payment transactions anytime, anywhere, with 9 billers connected to the solution so far and more to join in the near future.
The solution is seamlessly integrated with PS-mPay, the first mobile payments solution in Palestine launched by JAWWAL PAY in May 2020, to provide users with the added convenience of completing numerous payment types, including bill payments, using only one mobile application.
The new implementation also coincides with a major upgrade of PS-mPay that provisions new added-value services including bulk payments, business-to-business payments, cash-in capabilities from banks, fingerprint and face identification support, as well as advanced reports and analytics to support the operational, financial and commission distribution needs of users.
ProgressSoft is thrilled to be marking new success stories in its fruitful partnership with NCEP’s JAWWAL PAY and taking part in continuously paving the way for enhanced payments in Palestine.
