The holy month of Ramadan was once again upon us; a month of giving, compassion, blessings and charity around the world. ProgressSoft contributed to the Ramadan spirit by taking part for the 3rd year in a row in the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology’s effort to distribute relief packages for needy families. This year, in cooperation with local police, two of the most disadvantaged areas in the Kingdom were targeted for assistance: Theeban and Al Aghwar Al Shamaliyeh.
Over two days, ProgressSoft employees visited the homes of 120 underprivileged families in Theeban and Al Aghwar Al Shamaliyeh, distributing relief packages to them.
Part of ProgressSoft’s Corporate Social Responsibility effort, the campaign shows how CSR activity can significantly impact the society. The company has always supported Jordanian societal initiatives and takes pride in Jordanian society, culture and history.
