ProgressSoft sponsored the successful completion of the first TechForward cohort, an initiative led by int@j, the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan, to strengthen the connection between academia and the evolving needs of Jordan’s ICT sector.
As part of the initiative, ProgressSoft collaborated with university students from The Hashemite University, Middle East University and Applied Science University, providing real-world AI use cases and mentorship during the academic year. The student teams presented their graduation projects during the TechForward graduation ceremony held on June 30, 2026.
Through TechForward, participating technology companies contribute industry-relevant challenges that enable students to apply their academic knowledge to practical business scenarios. ProgressSoft contributed three AI-focused use cases: Voice Print Verification with anti-spoofing capabilities, a Handwritten versus Printed Text Classifier and a Natural Language-to-Database Query Converter.
These projects provided students with hands-on experience in addressing challenges commonly encountered in modern software development and financial technology environments. Throughout the project cycle, ProgressSoft’s AI team worked closely with the students, providing guidance and mentorship to help strengthen their technical approach and align their work with real development practices.
ProgressSoft’s participation reflects its ongoing corporate social responsibility commitment to empowering future talent and supporting education-industry collaboration. By engaging directly with students, the company contributes to developing future-ready skills and helping bridge the gap between university education and workplace expectations.
Through initiatives such as TechForward, ProgressSoft continues to invest in the next generation of ICT professionals and support the advancement of digital innovation and technological development.
