ProgressSoft Corporation, in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, participated as a sponsor for the second year in the winter charity campaign aimed at supporting those in need in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT) is the Jordanian government entity responsible for spearheading policy in the areas of information technology, telecommunications and postal services in Jordan.
The winter charity campaign conducted by MoICT on an annual basis, aims to help families prepare for winter by distributing heaters, blankets and jackets in less fortunate areas across the Kingdom. This year, ProgressSoft contributed as a sponsor of this charitable drive, supporting MoICT with the supply of more than 200 winter jackets to keep those in need from the blistering cold.
Like every year, ProgressSoft colleagues partook in the event, this year visiting the area of Al-Karak and distributing the aids to the families themselves. With the heart-felt compassion of ProgressSoft’s volunteers and their appreciation towards the importance of giving back to society, ProgressSoft continues with determination, to provide hands-on support to the Ministry’s generous exertions.
The winter charity campaign is one of six collaborations between ProgressSoft and MoICT over the course of the past 3 years, for distributing relief packages during winter and the holy month of Ramadan.
ProgressSoft is delighted to be maintaining a sustainable partnership with MoICT and supporting their generous initiatives in supporting the less fortunate around the Kingdom, ultimately inducing positive change.
