ProgressSoft Corporation, in collaboration with Jordan’s Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, participated as a sponsor in the winter charity campaign, 'Karamak Dafahom' in Jordan.
The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MoICT) is the Jordanian government entity responsible for articulating policy in the areas of information technology, telecommunications and postal mail in Jordan.
MoICT launched their winter charity campaign, 'Karamak Dafahom,' with the aim of helping families in need prepare for winter before it hits and stay warm throughout the season. The MoICT and sponsors of the campaign distributed heaters and blankets to the less fortunate in Ajloun, Irbid, Madaba, Tafileh amongst other areas across the Kingdom.
ProgressSoft contributed as a sponsor of this charitable drive, supporting the MoICT with the supply of heaters and blankets. ProgressSoft colleagues also participated in the distribution of the packages, joining and supporting the Ministry in their generous efforts across the areas of Ajloun and Irbid.
The campaign is part of a sustainable partnership with the MoICT which has run for over 3 years to support those in need in the community. It is the second collaboration between ProgressSoft and MoICT in the year 2017, where the company supported the Ministry with the distribution of relief packages during the holy month of Ramadan.
ProgressSoft continues to encourage its employees to participate in charitable initiatives and always lend a helping hand for families in need, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
