ProgressSoft Completes National Upgrade of QATCH

ProgressSoft is pleased to announce the successful completion of the national upgrade project for Qatar Central Bank’s Automated Clearing House solution (QATCH), marking a major leap forward in modernizing Qatar’s financial infrastructure.

The national upgrade successfully aligned QATCH with the latest technological, functional and security standards, offering a more efficient, reliable and secure platform for direct debit and credit transactions across various participants, including banks, fintech, government agencies and subdirect participants.

The upgrade of QATCH, powered by ProgressSoft’s Automated Clearing House solution, introduces advanced features such as improved application services, enhanced user experience and performance, and dynamic reporting and notification schemes. Additionally, the upgrade includes versatile security features and robust risk management capabilities.

The upgrade was designed with scalability in mind, supporting cloud infrastructure and containerized environments to ensure readiness for future expansion and long-term adaptability. It has also been integrated with the central bank’s newly launched Real-Time Gross Settlement system (QA-RTGS), marking a significant milestone in the modernization of Qatar’s financial infrastructure.
