e-finance, the first and largest electronic payment and collection gateway in Egypt, in partnership with ProgressSoft Corporation, the leading provider of real-time payment solutions launched together the all new mobile payment services brand in Egypt "Khales Mobile" during Cairo ICT, which took place on 27 - 30 November 2016, at the Cairo International Convention Centre.
Khales Mobile covers banked and unbanked citizens, providing them with the capability to carry out various types of payments including person-to-person, person-to-business, person-to-government, in addition to bill payment and presentment.
During Cairo ICT 2016, Khales Mobile was introduced and demonstrated to the visitors of the exhibition at e-finance booth. The visitors were given the chance to download and tryout the application using their own mobile devices, in addition to registering for the service.
Citizens in Egypt are now capable of paying their electricity, water and internet bills using Khales Mobile, in addition to paying their charity and zakat. Furthermore, Khales Mobile facilitates payment for a number of university tuition fees including Suez Canal University, University of Alexandria, University of Cairo, Mansoura University, Bani Suef University, Ain Shams University and South Valley University.
e-finance also hosts the Mobile Payment Platform and serves multiple entities in Egypt through Software as a Service (SaaS) model. ProgressSoft's multitenant solution allows banks to act as service providers through e-finance without the need to integrate the platform in their premises.
