ProgressSoft concluded successful participation in the Mobile World Congress 2021 which took place from June 28 to July 1 in Barcelona.
The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is a unique worldwide event that brings together the most relevant mobile technologies and solutions, and every year, ProgressSoft has been committed to taking part in the congress to showcase its latest advancements in mobile technologies and make the industry more aware of the vitality of digital financial services.
In 2020, MWC was cancelled due to the restrictions of the global pandemic, consequently this year, ProgressSoft was able to distinguish an extraordinary transition from 2019 to 2021, where an industry that was once taking its ample time in providing remote and digital access to even basic financial services, has now already either accelerated or completed the digital shift.
With mobile technologies bringing financial services within reach virtually to populations around the world, ProgressSoft had anticipated and contributed to this accelerated shift during the pandemic. Therefore, its main objective in MWC 2021 was to assist financial institutions in expanding their mobile and digital assets to continuously deliver value-added financial services to their clients.
“For years, we have been advocating the industry to accelerate the shift to mobile, but today, mobile financial services are considered a basic infrastructure for institutions, just like bank branches,” noted Mahmoud Kurdi, ProgressSoft’s Business Consultant, “At MWC 2021, we showcased how we are building on this infrastructure, advancing it, and preparing the financial world for what is coming in the next 5 years.”
With many visitors to the ProgressSoft stand by prospect and valued partners and clients, new opportunities for future collaborations were generated, and positive feedbacks on its latest innovations in Digital Banking, Instant Payments and Blockchain-based Central Bank Digital Currency were collected throughout the duration of the event.
