ProgressSoft Presents Blockchain-based CBDC at CBPC 2021
ProgressSoft concluded another successful participation at the Central Bank Payments Conference (CBPC) 2021, which took place virtually every Monday during the month of November.
As Founding Partner of CBPC, which annually gathers central bank leaders for an agenda filled with insightful topics, ProgressSoft was there to present its latest advancements in central bank solutions including its Blockchain-based Central Bank Digital Currency which has been gaining traction by central banks around the world.
The value-added features of ProgressSoft’s Blockchain-based Central Bank Digital Currency were presented and demonstrated to CBPC attendees, sparking numerous discussions to take the next step forward in introducing the advanced form of national currency.
During the event, ProgressSoft’s CBDC expert also took part in a panel discussion alongside the Bank for International Settlements, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Kapronasia on ‘How to Issue Retail CBDC’ discussing how central banks should issue this new form of money and its implications from monetary policy to confidentiality and traceability.
ProgressSoft is honored to have met with central bank leaders at CBPC 2021 and looks forward to reconvening at the Banknote and Currency Conference and Digital Currency Conference in February 2022.
