ProgressSoft, in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation, raised breast cancer awareness for the third consecutive year in support of Pink October.
The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) is a renowned non-governmental and non-profit institution founded in 2001 by Royal Decree to combat cancer in Jordan and the Middle East region.
Diligent experts from KHCF paid a visit to ProgressSoft’s premises to provide an awareness session on breast cancer protection, early detection and prevention. This is in addition to clinical breast examinations held to encourage ProgressSoft employees to look out for their well-being on a continuous basis.
The ‘Hope Shop Memorabilia’ was also displayed at ProgressSoft’s premises to encourage donation-with-purchase where all proceeds were directed to cover the cost of mammogram screening for underprivileged women across the Kingdom of Jordan.
This collaboration is one of many between ProgressSoft and KHCF, where ProgressSoft contributed to the three-year expansion project of the King Hussein Cancer Center which is today deemed as the most advanced cancer center in the Middle East.
